The Scottish Neurodiverse Performance Network
is a space for neurodivergent artists working in performance in Scotland to gather, connect and share practice, projects, advice and solidarity.

In 2019, Aby started the Scottish Neurodiverse Performance Network (or SNPN) following a conversation with fellow neurodivergent artist Steven Fraser about the lack of neurodiverse creative spaces in Scotland. She strongly felt there was a lack of connection between artists identifying at neurodiverse in Scotland, and consequently a lack of a visible neurodiverse artist community, even though there are so many talented neurodiverse artists working in performance in Scotland. Aby started SNPN as an experiment that has grown into an establish neurodivergent creative community in Scotland.

SNPN are mainly connected via a closed Facebook group - which has 120+ members - and have monthly General Meetings that currently take place on Zoom. Pre-COVID, we were based at The CCA where we met monthly in person. If you are a neurodivergent*, Scotland-based, artist working in performance please stop by our facebook group here, or drop alternatively drop us an email at neurodiverseperformance@gmail.com. SNPN warmly welcomes new members.

You can contact SNPN at neurodiverseperformance@gmail.com.

*This is inclusive of those with either a medical diagnosis or a self-identification of a neurodivergent condition.
